NEOSPASTICS

 

 

 

Since the 13th October, 2006 we have found after 2,5 years of intensive search, finally, our new drummer. Now the new Line up consists of Sven

 Amann drums, Nadja Kissner bass (keys) and Pablo Kissner as always guitar and vocals. We have friendly separated from our bassist Mike Allram

since a while. At the moment we have tackled the preproduction of our new album and a small foretaste like it musically goes on, you can hear

here. Partial we have renounced keyboard sounds quite consciously, because this lends an additional dimension to our sound. This year we shall

be seen also live. The data where and when are soon published here. So if it interests You, soon take a look on our web page.

A new review from Argentina......

 It turned out to be a very pleasing surprise “Plasticlove” of Neospastics. Gloomy death rock tunes make their apparition in, paradoxically, foolish songs. Let’s say, how could we think other way with such titles as

“Song For Assholes”, “XXX For President” or “Bubblegum Reality”? Therefore, our initial reaction before this album was ambiguous… and disconcerting. In the first place, if we consider that a record label such as Napalm has released a CD like this, it don’t come any clear to us. And if we add the fact that Tilo Wolff from Lacrimosa (!) contributes with a remix of “Dance Another Day” song, this matter won’t let us no alternative but drowning us in perplexity. “Song For Assholes” starts with a contagious piano and not less efficient chorus, that recalls us to

Pixies. Pablo Kissner’s fragile voice is crucial for “Arrival Openmind” to have that effect that walks between punk

and post-punk. After all, death rock is the bastard cousin of gothic rock, always more refined and elegant. The musical diversity of “Plasticlove” even scratches the 80s glam/rock and glam/punk sound, with Iggy Pop as obligatory influence as it appear on “Here From Mars”. The confusion, really, seizes us when we check that every song is entertaining, catchy, rocker, and besides all known things, diverse, without losing a piece of its identity. That’s the enormous difference between this and the other bands around. Nevertheless, it is a shame that Neospastics couldn’t or won’t write better lyrics, or at least do a better artwork. However, in the end, it is like everyone says: “only the inside counts”. Hell, yeah!

                                                                 We would like to thank to all the fans, which wrote us and

                                                                 congratulated us to the album, as well as they expressed

                                                                 the wish to see us live! We would have very gladly rocked up

                                                                 for you. Unfortunately it came differently, before release of the

                                                                 album, our Drummer left the band and wasn’t within reach for

                                                                 month.

   

                                                                 After we tested now the entire months soon 60 Drummer, we

                                                                 were not able to find unfortunately yet always the correct. And

                                                                 unfortunately we were also not convinced by the so-named

                                                                 “professional” Drummers from Switzerland, therefore we wouldn’t

                                                                 rather play any live-show then offer you something that ourselves

didn’t satisfied. So, if you are a Drummer, playing fucking good, you want to make earnestly music, you enjoy

music and you know what groove means, than you are welcome to write us! neospastics@swissonline.ch

We are happy to inform you that we signed a booking/management deal at
Capital Voices (Germany)!
 
Besides we will visit Kanal K, Aarau on the 7th August 2004 from 18.00 till 19.00h
Then you can hear some songs from our new album and we will have a live interview
too. So spread your ears to Kanal K .

It's the second time that we reached the 7 Day Report Airplay Charts from
"The Darkest Hours", Quebec, Canada. Our song "Emotion" is actually placed on 22.
 
We are also in the May top 20 favorites from Radio Flora, Germany, they voted
our song "Songs for Assholes".
 
The Radio Coloriage, France has voted our album for the second time, in April
we reached place 4 in its radio charts.
 
And last but not least we would like to thank all the radio stations,
which playd and plays our songs and which we didn't mention now, because in the
meantime there are innumerable. A big thank!!

Compilation-cd from Orkus May 2004. Our album has reached place 3 at
radio coloriage, France (March 04) !

we thanks to all djs which play regular our songs ! And we are still
in the XL-rotations from eldoradio , and also at rockfun24, radio aktiv,
radio k2r, extreme noise etc.
